All entries for On The Tools Awards are independently judged by a carefully selected panel of industry experts and insiders.
On the Tools is the UK's largest Construction Community with the sole purpose of 'connecting construction', with over 1.7 million followers across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.
We currently have the most viewed piece of branded video content on Facebook in the UK, with 31 million views and 3 videos in the top 6. We're proving that not only can we compete but also better publishers 10x our size.
As head of content my role is to oversee and publish content on our social media channels, work with other brands to increase their social following and create original content for advertising campaigns. We work towards the clients objective by storyboarding, producing and editing a 60-90 second piece of viral video content.

Now Expert Trades has partnered with the likes of Monument Tools, Baxi and Fernox to support the end user, move customers into brand advocates and drive sales through the merchant network.
“The thing I get excited about is how our industry is changing as a result of technology. It is making trades professionals more efficient and creating new opportunities throughout the whole supply chain. The best part of my job is getting a chance to work with companies that aren’t waiting for this to happen but being the change makers themselves.”
My main priority is to attract and train the best consultants in the industry. I constantly work to create an environment where our brilliant staff, candidates and clients can be themselves, and thrive. Seeing our employees develop and succeed is what makes me go home happy. Having said that, what kind of CEO would I be if a well-measured sale didn’t get me going?
The culture and the working environment at Farsight is something I am acutely aware of, and very proud of. I stand alongside my company values, and insist on a culture in the workplace that is always upfront and honest. Everyone is treated with respect. We actively encourage the team to contribute to a consistent evolution of our business processes; with customer experience being the litmus test for all change.
I believe that beyond the corporate world, businesses like ours should work more closely with local and international charities, and aim to impact our communities positively; which is exactly what we are doing. I’m a passionate traveler and I believe firmly in satisfying my extrinsic values in order the get the most from life. I take time to help with charities and explore the world.
