Adam Barrie

On the Tools is the UK's largest Construction Community with the sole purpose of 'connecting construction'​, with over 1.7 million followers across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. 

We currently have the most viewed piece of branded video content on Facebook in the UK, with 31 million views and 3 videos in the top 6. We're proving that not only can we compete but also better publishers 10x our size. 

As head of content my role is to oversee and publish content on our social media channels, work with other brands to increase their social following and create original content for advertising campaigns. We work towards the clients objective by storyboarding, producing and editing a 60-90 second piece of viral video content.

Adam Callow is the Founder CEO of Expert Trades. Expert Trades makes life easier and more fun for trades professionals, and since starting in 2013 has over 14,000 engaged trade members. With an industry background, as an area sales manager for a heavy side manufacturer, Adam saw a need to better use technology to connect the construction industry.

Now Expert Trades has partnered with the likes of Monument Tools, Baxi and Fernox to support the end user, move customers into brand advocates and drive sales through the merchant network.

In today’s fast-changing communications environment, the boundaries between marketing, PR and digital are dissolving. With new demands and different rules of engagement, Peggy-Sue encourages her clients to push boundaries to maximise their full potential.

For ten years, Jo has worked with some of the biggest names across the construction sector helping them build their brands and communicate more effectively.

Working with brands ranging from Jewson, British Gypsum and Dulux Trade, Jo has a wealth of experience in communicating with many audience types across complex supply chains.

Jo is a firm believer that communications in the construction sector can be and should be bold, braver and simply more creative. In line with this ethos she has supported her clients in developing multi-award winning campaigns that deliver against the bottom line, as well as softer benefits of better informed and motivated employees and improvements in brand perception. Most recently, Tangerine’s work in the built environment was recognised at the Construction Marketing Awards 2015, scooping the PR Agency of the Year accolade.

Jo is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Construction Industry Group (CIMCIG) in the North West.


Lindsey Hegarty

Lindsey is a highly experienced construction professional having worked for over 20 years in the industry, within the civil engineering and general construction sectors.   Lindsey currently works with the Business Development Director, Operations Directors, Segment and Customer Account Directors within Carillion Building in the generation, management and conversion of a sustainable pipeline of work to reflect the current and anticipated Business Plan for Carillion Building. 

Lindsey manages activities to support operational delivery and growth, developing relationships with key stakeholders to optimise work winning opportunities and implementing actions to position Carillion with differentiated advantage.   Using a customer focussed and public facing approach, she is an accomplished communicator with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.  She is considered memorable by consistently acting on the things which matter to colleagues and stakeholders at every level.

Chris Moore

Head of Communications, Max Fordham |

'Chris comes from a long line of carpenters and boilermakers, but didn't have the talent to pursue the family trades, training as a journalist instead.

After spending more than a decade writing about architecture for magazines and newspapers, he moved to a communications and brand role in architecture practice.

Chris is now Head of Communications and a Partner at environmental and building services engineering practice Max Fordham.  The practice has worked on landmark buildings such as Tate Modern in London, the National Museum of Scotland and the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. Last year the practice celebrated its 50th anniversary.'

Tony Munro is Showroom Director for Jewson, having taken up the position in January 2017. Tony Munro is responsible for all Jewson Kitchen and Bathroom showrooms, and showroom employees across the UK.  With over 12 years of experience within the construction industry working for both distributors and manufacturers, Tony has vast insight into what makes tradespeople tick.

Katy has a passion for creating innovative thought-provoking campaigns across a wide range of communication channels and she genuinely relishes challenging client briefs.  She is experienced in crisis management and corporate comms with some of the UK’s top brands and does not shy away from tackling reputation management strategies for even the most demanding clients.

Dave Seal is Managing Director of Advent Tools Ltd. Advent Tools are one of the UK’s leading suppliers of measuring products and the UK Exclusive distributor for Komelon. Founded in 2001, Advent Tools now supplies over 8,000 customers throughout the UK and Ireland.

Prior to taking over at Advent Tools Ltd, Dave worked in various sales and marketing roles at Unilever PLC. He left his role as Unilever Business Group Director in 2006 to take over Advent Tools Ltd from his late Father.


Tibby Singh

'Tibby Singh is the winner of BBC's Carpenter of the Year and a multi-award winning carpentry and joinery expert. Tibby has over 12 years experience under his tool belt and since winning the Television competition he is well recognized in the industry and has a variety of roles. He is involved in product testing, development and reviews, as well as giving live and video demonstrations. Tibby is a brand ambassador and endorses products, carpentry and joinery competitions judge, guest speaker and is heavily involved with media work such as TV, radio and magazines'
